• Review content: Text reviews and ratings you submit for residential addresses.
• Removal requests: Name, email, and supporting information submitted with a review removal request.
• Device data: Push notification tokens to deliver in-app notifications.
• Usage data: Addresses searched and app interactions, used to improve the service.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the Know Thy Neighbor platform.
• To moderate reviews and process removal requests.
• To send push notifications about your reviews or account activity.
• To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe: Payment processing for review removal fees. Stripe handles all card data; we never store card numbers.
• Service providers: Hosting and infrastructure providers under confidentiality obligations.
• Law enforcement: When required by law or to protect the safety of users.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Upon deletion, your reviews, saved addresses, and account information are permanently removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

This platform complies with applicable privacy laws including CCPA (California) and PIPEDA (Canada). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, use the in-app “Delete My Data” feature or contact us.

Children’s Privacy

Know Thy Neighbor is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
