You can permanently delete your Know Thy Neighbor account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

How to delete your account in the app

Open the Know Thy Neighbor app on your device
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
Scroll to the bottom of the Profile page
Tap the “Delete My Data” button
Read the confirmation prompt and tap “Delete Everything” to confirm

Your account and data will be deleted immediately upon confirmation.

Data that is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

Your account profile (name, email, avatar)
All reviews you have submitted
Saved addresses
Push notification tokens
Coin wallet and all coin transaction history
Unlocked address history
Report history (reports you filed on other reviews)

Data that is retained

Anonymised moderation audit logs (e.g., records of content moderation actions taken on your reviews) are retained for 90 days after account deletion for legal compliance and platform safety purposes. These logs do not contain your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. After 90 days, they are permanently purged.

Can’t access the app?

If you are unable to log in or access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at privacy@knowthyneighbor.app. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 14 business days.
